RAN-30X

The RAN-30X is a 2D shipborne multimode surveillance radar operating in X-Band. It can operate as a primary sensor for combined surface and air surveillance on board patrol vessels or as a specialized anti-seaskimmer sensor on board major Surface Combatant Vessels.

The antenna is mounted on a mechanical Roll and Pitch stabilised platform. The primary radar antenna is a parabolic reflector with two different beams: beam one forms a Cosecant Squared pattern, beam two (providing a higher gain) forms a Pencil-Beam applied for anti-missile detection and Over-the-Horizon mode. The antenna is designed to house the IFF antenna in a back-to-back configuration.
