Commander SL

AR327 Commander SL (AMES Type 101) is an S band (IEEE designation) or E/F band (NATO designation) high performance tactical long-range mobile or semi-static 3-Dimensional air surveillance radar. It has advanced ECCM functionality to ensure optimum performance in adverse environmental and electronic conditions.

The radar is fully interoperable with existing or planned Air Defence systems. It can also offer a limited stand-alone Air Battle Management capability, useful for small-scale integrated air defence scenarios, offering great flexibility of employment to the Air Defence Commander.

The Commander SL is an evolution of the AR327 Commander, which is currently in service with the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) and a number of other customers worldwide.
