With the frequency wave meter you can measure an RF frequency very accurately.
The frequency wave meter is connected between the RF generator to be measured and an RF power meter.
The RF energy on the measurement line sinks via the internal impedance of the resonant circuit.
At the exact resonant frequency, the frequency meter should represent a short circuit for the RF energy.
The resonant frequency of the oscillating circuit is changed manually until a minimum of power can be measured on the following power meter.
The resonance frequency can then be measured on the calibrated scale.
